At this point, would it be wise to let the admissions office know that I received a congressional nomination, and now an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy? As an OOS applicant, I’m looking for any way to maximize my chances for admission to UVa.
Thanks!

How about sending the above message to the AFA instead?

Only if you want to open up a spot for the rest of us…

aglages,
Not sure I’m following you there… why would I do that?

So that the AFA can also appreciate how badly you want to attend UVa. Perhaps they (the AFA) can send some supporting documents to help you?

Once again, I’m not sure I follow you. As far as I know, USAFA has never revoked an offer of appointment because an appointee demonstrates interest in another school.

Shouldn’t be a problem for you to get them to help you get into UVa then.

Seadmu…we’re pulling your chain.

Advice…it would not be wise to hold your AFA appointment over the head of the UVA admissions committee.

Congrats, though, on your appointment. And if you decide to attend, thanks for serving your country.
