Take Drake’s “Marvin’s Room”. He tries to get his past lover to realize she’s with an unworthy man.

Trey Songz’s “Neighbors Know My Name” he tries to calm the “stressin’” neighbors by giving his girl a pillow to bite on because she is just too loud. "

Rap is actually good, people.

Thanks, yank. (I know that rating is on a 1 to 10 with 1 being the best and 10 being the worst).

Some of Drake’s songs are actually tolerable but I can’t tell if you’re serious.

why can’t words be offensive? it just depends on what they mean.

I really don’t get the view that people should be chill with things, because “its the 21st century, deal with it.” give me an actual reason, and then I might consider it.

K, just give me an example of a song that contains offensive language. Curse words are not always offensive.

Nooo I’m not serious, although I can come up with some very questionable justifications for certain songs.

Who needs offensive language? Imma just chill to some macklemore.

inb4 thrift shop bandwagon

MACKLEMORE FOR LYFE.

Irish Celebration made me want to be Irish for a second! Great lyrics…all of his songs.

shakes head Oh, Descuff, how do you not see the raw emotion and feeling in this song?

“What you know about rockin’ a wolf on your noggin?
What you knowin’ about wearin’ a fur fox skin?
I’m digging, I’m digging, I’m searching right through that luggage
One man’s trash, that’s another man’s come-up”

This song give new hope to the homeless and those impoverished that they can have swag and pull all the girls with their clothes from the thrift shop. Gucci is a hella don’t.

Mah jam, makes me want to be a mariners fan: [Macklemore and Ryan Lewis - My Oh My (Official Video) - YouTube](<a href=“Macklemore and Ryan Lewis - My Oh My (Official Video) - YouTube ”>Macklemore and Ryan Lewis - My Oh My (Official Video) - YouTube )

I’m kind of annoyed that he got like mega famous for thrift shop when he has so many better songs, but then I realize I’m not a hipster and actually don’t care. I’m still happy he’s getting more recognized though.

Wow, CC really has hip-hop fans. Lol

Yeah, I understand. He has a lot of great songs and I really want to see him live. That’s be awesome!

@similo What makes you think that?

As a whole, I definitely like rock a lot more than rap/hip-hop. In my opinion, many rappers are a dime a dozen, but there are definitely some good ones out there.

well no, not always, but sometimes.

I can’t think of a song. I personally try to stay away from curses as much as I can :D

I enjoy all types of music.

I enjoy jazz. Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Smokey Robinson, etc.

I enjoy indie pop. Lana Del Rey, Florence + The Machine, Bon Iver, and Mumford & Sons

I enjoy the Beatles <3 [My apologies dear yank]

I enjoy Hip Hop/R&B. Drake, 2 Chains. Lil Wayne. Rihanna.

I enjoy pop. Pitbull. Bruno Mars.

Anything really. Except screamo/metal. Can’t stand it.

ISHYGDDT

Also what are Beattles

I have a friendship always yells “BASED”.

He wonders why I randomly walk away from him sometimes.

Now take them off indie pop :(

The Beatles are not indie pop :(

ironcially, i’m wearing a beatles shirt atm

By then I just started listing bands, but to make you happy…

I would say, however, that I would classify the Beatles as BritPop.

I expected the board to be overrun with indie pop, chillwave, and electronica enthusiasts – these people are often hip-hop pessimists.

And Lil B is a legend.

does anyone else listen to music in other languages?

@similo Ahh, I got you, brah. #respect …buuuuutttt I love me my indie pop ;)

@stressedouttt NO KPOP. I do listen to Spanish music.
