Raising my Algebra II grade?

I currently am a Senior in high school and I have a 65.15% in this class. It’s my worst grade so far and I keep stressing out about it. I was going through the specific categories that make up the entire grade and my lowest category are in my tests. My test category is currently at a 59%
Edit: Tests make up 50% of our grade in this class.

How can I raise the percentage in this category? What is the minimum I can get on a test so that the percentage starts to go up instead of down?

Thanks for the help. I’m just a bit lost on how to improve it at the moment besides studying

I think you just answered your own question… You probably need to study more, and/or reach out to your teacher to get help with problems and concepts that you don’t understand. You need to get test scores greater than 59%, preferably much greater than that to see the course grade improve.

Ah, Algebra 2, my least favorite class. Trust me, I struggled immensely in that class.
What I would say is talk to your teacher. It seems simple, I know, but they are the ones grading your tests-they know what’s best for you. If you want to get better you have to WORK for it. You can’t just not do anything and expect your grades to soar, right? Get in the work zone. Go to the library and see if there’s any Algebra 2 books you can study from. Go to extra help. Study an extra hour or two. These changes will help you improve.
Think about your study habits and how you can change them. If you’re not doing well, and you’ve been studying the same way, then obviously the way you are studying isn’t helping. Try studying in a different place, like the kitchen, or in the school library. Listen to music (I prefer piano music), and make other changes.
All the best luck to you!
