Thank you! It’s a issue having the new thread list filled with posts linking an article with only a handful of comments, if any. If an article seems like it would make a good discussion topic, it’s worth starting a thread on that topic.

For just sharing something interesting to read, this thread is a great idea.

When I run out of NYT gift links, another CCer often comes through with the link. But the only way to find out if someone will is to post it. @ mods, what do you think?

Please only post articles that you can gift link.

Anyone sign up for Medicare D max $2000 out of pocket for prescription drug copay plan? How’s it working for you? It sounds great on paper. A drug rep was talking about it last night, because the medication is company sells is $3000/month!

Wow, measles in TX and TB in 2 other states, plus bird flu. Are we having fun yet?

Himom, the Part D max out of pocket of $2000 only applies to drugs your Part D covers. So if your doc prescribes something not in your Part D formulary, it doesn’t matter how much you spend on it. It won’t count toward your max out of pocket.

Good to know—important to check out your formulary, which can change with little to no notice, to the detriment of insured folks.
