If there is no staff to review the surveys, they can still be useful if technology can readily turn responses into information posted to the IPEDS website. I think itās more complicated than that, though, so itās possible that survey information may be collected but not used, depending on staffing. The one thing Iām sure of is that schools will submit all mandatory surveys. The financial penalties for not doing so are stiff.
If that were my kid, sheād be living at home and finishing up college locally, under my roof, with a lot of rules and some mom and dad mandated community service (if not mandated by the courts). Iād be mortified!
