What’s your opinion on teachers randomly calling on students to answer questions?

Personally, I dread it. There are sometimes classes where I am slower to understand material, and it’s just humiliating for me to be called on and not know how to answer the teacher.

^Same, I despise that! Especially in Spanish! It’s embarrassing having everyone staring at you, including the teacher:( The teacher is like “repita por favor” and I just sit there with my face turning red:( It doesn’t happen too often, but when it does it’s embarrassing.

Nobody likes teachers like that. Successful teachers should be able to be answered by willing students.

My AP Biology teacher was like that. He would call the student stupid or a ■■■■■■ in front of the entire class if they didn’t know the answer.

He made us study our material…but we were all terrified of him.

I always research my teachers before taking a class. Why waste time and money with some fool that’s just out to further their own ego? Be a pal, warn others.
