I like Top Chef, Chopped, and other cooking competition shows. So now if the situation ever calls for it, I can figure out how to make duck and apricots into a meal, or 4 different uses for cucumbers :D

I like Restaurant Rescue.

I have NO shame. I watch too many trashy TV shows

RHONJ - my favorite
I also occasionally watch RHONY, RHOATL & RHOBH
Hardcore Pawn I’m kind of obsessed with
Cupcake Wars
True Life on MTV
Catfish
The Wanted Life
Tabatha Takes Over
Mob Wives
Four Weddings
Top Chef
Bridezillas
I use to love For Rent, Income Property and Property Virgins on HGTV but don’t really watch that channel anymore.
Bad Girls Club but only twice on two different Sundays where they marathoned the whole seasons and I could not stop watching for the life of me

and probably tons others. I watch whatever is on and may watch a couple eps here and there but not be too committed.

I watch so much HGTV that when we moved into our new house, our A-V guys put a light switch in the family room and master bedroom that turns the tv on to HGTV when you push it as you enter the room. :o

Dance Moms!!

I like none of them. The only one I don’t turn off instantly is Pawn Stars. I can watch that for about 10 minutes if someone has brought in an interesting item. But before long I’ve had enough and turn off that show too.

I used to watch Project Runway but I don’t anymore because my learning curve was so long. After three or four seasons I still couldn’t figure out what the judges would like and why. The drama was fun for a while but then it got tiresome. I still watch Survivor. It never fails to surprise. I have never seen American Idol or anything like that because I don’t like that kind of singing.

I like the reality shows where you kind of learn something, not the train wrecks. I like Top Chef, Chopped, and a few other cooking shows. I used to watch Project Runway but got bored with it when they had all the way out challenges that were not really any kind of real-life design (using recycled trash, for example). I like Swamp People, although I really don’t learn anything there. I occasionally which watch one of the survival shows, but not regularly. I occasionally watch Fear Factor until it gets too gross. I do also enjoy SYTYCD. It’s occasionally fun to watch shows like Restaurant Impossible or the other one where they use the hidden cameras, but after a few shows the problems are always the same. Don’t like shows like Hoarders or Dance Moms or Intervention or even the bridal shows. I occasionally watch David Tutera do the weddings when it’s someone really deserving, not just someone who has no taste. I do like the Little Couple and the whole family likes Pawn Stars. It’s a good thing there are so many of them because I get bored with them really easily.

HGTV Star and Food Network Star. Glad they come on during the summer so there’s something to watch while the other scripted series are taking a break!

Lovee reality tv! From idol to the voice. To all the MTV - Snooki & jwoww, to Love & Hip Hop! Love the Kardashians & in the summer: Big brother, hgtv & food network star!

I believe that all the “Reality Shows” have some kind of scripting to keep the program interesting. I am renovating a house , the progress is slow and cannot see the same excitements as those on HGTV

I was searching for a Big Brother thread and came across this thread.

Big Brother : this is my summer guilty pleasure!

Bravo’s Real Housewives: Love the OC show the most.
** Not a reality show but I love Bravo Andy’s Watch What Happens Live. For me it goes along with the Real Housewives show.

The American Baking Competition: has been oddly addicting for me

The Amazing Race: I would love to be on this show

I love most of the cooking type reality shows ( Master Chef, Top Chef, Chopped etc…).

Couples Therapy: I will watch it On Demand if I have time - I really enjoy Dr. Jen’s show on Cosmo Radio.

I do enjoy a Say Yes to the Dress every now & then but I am not committed to watching it - more of a flipping through the channels toe of thing.

I really do not like the show Wipe Out or any of the shows where people have to do things involving being hit or sticking their hands into tubs filled with insects etc…

Have you seen “Burning Love”? My daughter showed it to me on her laptop. It’s a hilarious parody of “The Bachelor”.

I like So You Think You Can Dance - actual trained dancers so it’s really not “fake”
Dancing With the Stars - I like to see the amateurs (won’t call them “stars”) learn how to dance. Plus who doesn’t love the sparkly costumes, spray tans, etc Not to mention the same pro’s always get the most coordinated amateurs
Dance Moms - hardly reality, really awful, I shouldn’t watch but can’t help myself

HGTV - I like to fall asleep to House Hunters and I like Property Brothers and Love it or List It

I will sit in the room while The Voice is on, but I don’t care if I see it or not

I’m watching the Food Network contest right now, I forget the name about getting a show

Naked and Afraid is a new show on Discovery if you can get past all the blurred bits and pieces of nakedness that is part getting along with a stranger and surviving for 3 weeks in a wilderness
Alaska the Last Frontier is an interesting look of a family dynasty (singer Jewel’s extended family)
Million Dollar Listing NY and LA

^^ I am not sure they are strangers in “Naked and Afraid” as the two seemed work all the time together.

Also, in those “storage” shows, it seemed that only “stars” buy/won lockers.

For some reason, I’ve like the American Baking Competetion. I think it has something to do with the fact that none of the contestants have seemed fake or cutthroat. In fact they all seem very nice and friendly to each other. And they can bake!

Amazing Race - my absolute favorite show!

House Hunters International - love to see homes in Belize or something

Flip Flop or any house flipping show

Amazing Race, House Hunters International, and Dance Moms. My daughter and I watch dance moms together, she competed for 12 years in Irish dance and she loves to make fun of the moms!
