Do any of you ever dwell on a really weird topic? LOL. I dunno about you guys, but I very often sit and think about a certain word and keep saying it over and over and it just sounds so weird.

Ro-ad

Guess the movie

Not like that…but I have been told that I think way too much about inappropriate topics.

Haha, I know what you mean about the word thing! The other day, I started thinking about what a weird word “vehicle” is.

If a wall is painted with that type of paint that isn’t glossy and sleek feeling, I think about scraping my nails over it. It’s so rough that it makes me cringe like chalk making that obnoxious noise on a chalkboard. Though it’s so intoxicating mentally that I go through with it anyway only to receive an unpleasant feeling.

I promise I’m normal. D:

^ I’m still laughing :)

Yeah, that one has been around the past few years. Mainly since I moved into a new house where this type of paint is more frequent (especially pantries and my walk-in >.>).

Another really interesting one is when I was around 10, I used to think household items had feelings. I specifically remember my parents buying a mirror at this store and thinking to myself, “You’ll like it at our house Mr. Mirror.” Looking back this would’ve been ok for a 5 year old, but not for a preteen.

^I gave items emotions, too, but I never thought of naming them. Mr. Mirror seems like an awesome name :P

i get words stuck in my head too! but i usually think of the same word/phrase for a couple years, and every day or so it’ll attack me and repeat itself over and over again. and it gets so loud i start saying it aloud, or i’ll say nonsense words aloud to drown out the words in my head. it’s kind of strange, i guess. like a mental tic.

omg it’s my hand motions twin!

At school we had this loathsome paper that was normal on one side but stupid and glossy on the other (why would you do that? Pencil does not write on glossy things >:O ) so anyway, I used to be like “omg, must scratch glossy paper” and it would always be so uncomfortable but I had to :/

Sounds exactly like me. I can’t resist things that I know will make me cringe. xD
