Urberville, why would you name yourself after one of the most overrated Thomas Hardy books in existence?

Urberville and homer314 are very accomplished ■■■■■■. Please make an effort to avoid them.

Failed Algebra I because my school accidentally gave me a Calculus book but they let me take the calculus final to replace it and I got a 98%.

P.S The rejection probably isn’t the worst part, the worst part is when people start asking me whether I got in or not–right after getting rejected :(

It’s spelled Urbervilles, not Uberville. “Tess of the d’Urbervilles.” Either way, the novel sucks, IMO. So does your ■■■■■■■■.

I wonder if any of the people that have posted in this thread will get accepted. I hope I’m one of them ^^

Don’t we all?
Good luck to everybody.

Bad SATI’s 2000. OK SATII’s 760MII 700USH

Bad stats, good ECs.

4.0 transfer student 2380 SATs
Reason: Bad high school grades due to family issues.

International
Asian (Pakistani)
No interview (Harvard doesn’t interview everyone in my country, only those whom they plan to admit)
670 in CR (though I had 800 in Math and 790 in Writing so I seem lopsided and unable to handle reading)
Supplement essay sucked
Didn’t manage to make it to the International Math Olympiad (knocked out of the National Math Olympiad in the final round)
Lack of non-math and science ECs (don’t play any instruments or take part in public speaking)

Lol, your provoking sucks. I mentioned that you spelled your username wrong, twice. “Uberville” …no… “Urberville” also wrong. Urbervilles. “Tess of the d’Urbervilles.” The novel sucks. You’re a ■■■■■. Anyone is better than the ugly athiest anti-society anti-marriage animal novel. I also reported you, but unfortunately if the mods are as any good as this site’s server, they probably won’t do anything/don’t exist.

^Just finished that book tonight, haha

Anyway… I’ll get rejected because…
I didn’t waive my rights on the commonapp.

^ I didn’t waive my right either, and it so far hasn’t hindered me. Rest assured. I really don’t think it matters. An Amherst admission officer herself said it doesn’t matter, so I’d assume the same for similarly-ranked schools.

Horrible verbal and writing sat (I’m definitely math/science focused) and not too great ACT (…except in math). I’m not a great standardized test taker. In addition, I live in MA and I’m a white preppy kid from a typically wealthy town… And I’m not #1 in my class, or even close because my class is really smart (6 kids in MIT this year out of 7 applied, and we have about 250 kids total in my grade) so I’m not far behind, but so many kids have a ridiculous gpa, which I’m only about .001 away from (not quite fair), but still. Otherwise, grades are pretty much all A/A-s except for 2 courses in AP history, at an extremely competitive school… And I have a legacy and had a great interview. I also have great ECs and got my application in the day I was allowed to. But the SATs/ACTs are just going to murder me.

ECs are on the slightly weaker side, no major awards (except Nat Merit F), good but not great rank, didn’t take the hardest courseload possible freshman/junior year

i would be terrified if they accept me. I dont even see a reason why they should, or why I still follow this thread/forum

reason u will be rejected; you are overqualified for harvard

Everyone who has posted on this thread is not going to get in Harvard.

I am sorry but this is a truth. Even including me. :(
