Recommendation Letters

I asked two of my professors to submit recommendation letters to UVA since I have been wait listed for the fall 2007. I told my professors to address the letters to Greg W. Roberts, Associate Dean of Admission, which is who signed my wait list letter. Is this the correct person?

Thanks

I would say either address him or address the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. When I sent two letters I addressed the letter to the office simply because it might not be him who reads it, and since it’s unknown who will read it, it’s proper to address a broad audience. However, I would say the letter at this point in time should be addressed to him.

On the actual address on the envelope, I would put:
Office of UVA Undergraduate Admissions
Transfer Admissions Office
PO Box ______
C’ville, VA ______

simply because it will be easier for the post office/University to sort it.

Good luck!! :)
