Do we need to purchase one ourselves? or is it provided by the school?

By refrigerators, I’m referring to the small refrigerators that can be used in dorms

I saw this post the other day … don’t know if it’s true or not.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/1065233213-post6.html

oh okay well hopefully that’s true!

That post was from me…I called housing and they said the program to provide mini-refrig for the regular dorms was approved. He put me on hold to confirm…also said that bringing an second one would not be allowed. I’m guessing they will be giving us official word soon. Contract bidding for the project ended in June, so my guess is when they publish this years Move-In Guide, the official word will come.

Heh… Cal Poly’s Surplus operation sold off around 5 pallets of old mini-fridges late in Winter Quarter. The folks at Campus dining simply dumped them on us. I think this would explain why.

Is it University Housing providing the fridges or Campus Dining/Cal Poly Corporation?

Housing website is updated with mini-refrig and some other info.(Not sure I know how to add a link…)

Cerra Vista part of Residence Hall with the mini fridge?

The housing website says:

■Students living in on-campus Apartments are not allowed to have personal refrigerators. Standard refrigerator / freezer units are provided in Apartment kitchens.

so no on that.
