Regents Merit Scholarship

<p>Hi guys, I just received a letter from U of M saying I’m going to receive $1500 over two semesters during my first year. Two questions regarding this:</p>

<ol>
<li><p>Is $1500 standard? Or is there a varying amount for the Regents Merit award?</p></li>
<li><p>Does this automatically mean I’m not going to receive any other scholarship from U of M (namely the LSA scholarships)?</p></li>

<p>Yes. That is the standard amount for Regents Merit Scholarship. It is granted to around 525 freshmen from Michigan HS per year. I don’t think that limit you from any other scholarships.</p>
