<p>i got a regents scholarship at ucsd</p>

<p>its for $10,000</p>

<p>2 questions:</p>

<li>I thought that regents scholarships were only for $2000?</li>
</ol>

<p>Regents Scholars receive an honorarium of up to $8,000, paid at up to $2,000 in each of their 4 undergraduate years,</p>

<li>if i get regents scholarship, does that mean im a regents scholar???</li>
</ol>

<p>are they the same thing???</p>

<p>2200+ SAT
4.6+ UC GPA</p>

<p>Yes. You’re a regents scholar. How did you know the amount you got? Did you look at the financial aid thing on your admissions? If it says $10,000, then you get $10,000 per year. Regents scholars w/o financial need get $2,000 a year. I’m guessing you got financial aid. </p>

<p>“Entering freshmen who have demonstrated financial need receive additional scholarship and/or grant funds to meet the financial need for 4 undergraduate academic years, excluding any non-resident tuition costs.”</p>
