Regents Scholars Get Priority Enrollment?

regents scholars get to enroll in classes sooner than peers. each semester, scholarship athletes and disabled students get first priority (it alternates each semester), then it’s by seniority, but regents’ scholars get priority relative to their class standing. it doesn’t surprise me that it isn’t advertised online, but it’s one of many perks to being a scholar.

<p>No we do not. There’s been no official statement on this, and for the life of me I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t publicize it if it were true. What may be true is that a Regents’ scholar typically may have more units than other students through taking APs, or a higher course load in previous semesters and so on and would get higher standing as a result.</p>

<p>I believe its the kids in the honors program that get priority registration.</p>

<p>Regents’ scholars at Cal do not get priority registration. Regents’ scholars at all other UC campuses (to the best of my knowledge) do.</p>
