That’s false. In Judaism, there is a requirement to belive the 13 ikarim as written by the Rambam. (You can find them online as the “13 principles of faith.”)</p>

<p>You seem to be saying that is a requirement to pray, but no requirement to believe. If you don’t believe, then what exactly are you praying to? That’s like the joke about the “siddur” issued by Mordechai Kaplan–“the prayers are addressed ‘to whom it may concern’.”</p>
