<p>Well, OMG, as my kids would say. What a grand day at the world famous Junior’s on the lower level of Grand Central Terminal. In attendance jym626, mathmom, LIMOMOF2,Sybbie719,CGarrett101 with DD,mythmom along with her DH GreyDad,VeryHappy, twinmom,LurknessMonster and momof3sons. (A couple of the DH’s also tagged along but since they don’t post, they will not be dragged into this.) And if that incredible turnout wasn’t enough excitement, the rest of the CC World will NEVER guess who joined us for lunch…Natalie Portman & Jake Gyllenhaal!!! Do NOT even ask me how this happened. I was at the other end of the table, but I can only surmise that the ruckus we created attracted more than just the usual NYC riff-raff. We were all wearing CC name tags and that apparently drew Jake and Natalie’s attention. They could not believe that such a group existed. (They are a BIT removed from college issues.) Anyway, they were totally gracious and sat with us for about an hour and then Jake, ever the gentleman, PICKED UP THE WHOLE TAB! Y’all should join us next time! ;)</p>

<p>Hey! We had a meet-up (we called it a coffee klatch as I recall) in the Bay Area a couple of Halloween’s ago: calmom, jmmom, mootmom, sluggbugg and sluggH, mstee - who am I forgetting? (I’ll never be forgiven).</p>
<p>We, too, had a grand old time. But no celebrities came to pick up our tab. We had to pay our own tab! Maybe it’s because mstee’s friend more or less opened up her restaurant for us and we were the only ones there? BTW, her bruschetta was the best.</p>
<p>Lucky Jake and Natalie!!! Maybe they’ll produce a movie about you!</p>

<p>soozievt and I were planning to have lunch recently but a big snow storm set us back. We MIGHT have met a celebrity that day who would have paid for our lunch. You just never know.</p>
