<p>Hey guys, so on one of the applications for college (University of XXX) that I plan to apply to, it asks me to list what other colleges I am going to apply to. If I list many other colleges that I am applying to, does that hurt my chance with University of XXX? Thanks</p>
<p>I don’t believe that any other school has the right to know where you are applying. If you’re worried about it, I wouldn’t list any school. And while I realize it’s not truthful, you have the right to keep this information to yourself. Realistically, you may want to just consider listing a few schools.</p>
<p>You do not have to nor should you answer…I’m not sure it’s a question of not being truthful, it’s just not a question you are required to answer…you not lying or indicating that you are not applying elsewhere, you just choose not to disclose.</p>
