My school requires:
A year of Modern U.S History
A year of World History
Semester of Government
+Semester of any Social Studies
A year of biology
A year of physics
A year of another science
3 Years English
1 Year of English-related

All of that is fine and dandy, because all of them have honors/AP options, which I will be taking.

But then the problem lies in the required 3 semesters of P.E (One Health, One Phsyical Concepts, and one elective) along with a semester of Personal Finance. These you can’t take honors options of, and they really just bring down your G.P.A & take up class time you could be spending in more useful classes. (Though I see the good in Personal Finance)

What kind of classes do you have to take that aren’t core classes? Are you able to get around them? I’m taking the P.E’s and Personal Finance during summer school to free up time, and I’ve heard they are a LOT easier and provide extra credit opportunities a lot, so I figure I could get above a 100% in them for a G.P.A boost.
