Research Project

So at my school, we have a medical science & research magnet program, which I’m enrolled in. By senior year, we are supposed to have a research design and timetable for a research project that will be conducted during senior year. The project may take somewhere between 5 to 8 weeks, so that we can gather our data and make conclusions later to complete the entire experiment (in hopes of getting published by a research company).

My idea:
We had to decide on a topic sophomore year, and all I could think about was how sleeping problems. So then I did some research and found that light may be beneficial toward fixing the circadian rhythm (the internal clock that tells you when to sleep, and when to wake up). I had an idea of using that information to verify it and determine the efficiency of light-fixing the circadian rhythm, but I think that my research project flat out sucks. Does any1 have any ideas on how to improve upon my project?

Constructive criticism please
