<p>I am a junior high school student from India. I am applying for the research science institute. Here’s my profile</p>

<p>1) Psat - 77 Math, 80 Writing, 70 Verbal
2) SAT I - 790 Math, 700 Verbal
3) SAT II - MATH IIC-780 PHYSICS-800 WRITING-710
4) AP Physics B &C, Calculus BC - 5 (self studied)
AP Chemistry, English Literature -4 (self studied)
5) High School Grade - A (92.2%)
6) Won a few interschool awards in computers-web designing
7) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, done C++, Java, HTML, DHTML, ASP, Bryce, 3D Max, Flash, Dreamweaver, Director, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, JavaScript
8) Done research independently in Variable Valve Timing for piston engines and Rotary Vane Engine. For the latter, I took the guidance of the head of Mechanical Engineering Department of Indian Institute of Technology, one of the best institutes for engineering in India. He has given me a recommendation for this program too.
9) Self-studying advanced college level aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, reciprocating engines, gas turbines, etc.
10) Already done Vector Calculus and introductory linear algebra
11) Extracurricular - 8 semesters in French from Alliance Francaise with DELF exams A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6.

<p>What are my chances?</p>

<p>PS:- Since I am an international student, the deadline for me is March 1.</p>

<p>In addition, I have coded and performed a numerical simulation on Mathematica for my Rotary Vane engine and I have built an elementary wind tunnel in addition to writing quite a few programs in computer using Java, ASP, etc.</p>
