<p>So I got into rice and before I could even apply I had to declare my finances.</p>
<p>Recently, our financial situation has changed dramatically. Is it possible for Rice U to rescind my admission just because it doesnt look like I can afford the school on paper? And also, when I get my I-20, does this mean that I can work anywhere in Houston or only on campus?</p>

<p>I think international student can legally work only on campus while the school is in session. During long breaks they can work off-campus.</p>
<p>I don’t think Rice would rescind your admission. Based on your finances, It will be up to you to attend Rice or not.</p>
<p>yes true… and moreover if u r on the VISa … it wud become diff for u to get clearance frm the embassy if u fail to show proper funds… </p>
