Rigor of Classes

i’m a rising second-year, echols. i took sixteen classes last semester and the semester before. considering i am mostly a psych/bio double major, i’ve been taking mostly science and social science classes. right now though, i am currently taking a chem class that consists of about 9 hours as stated in SIS. and with discussion and lab lecture, i don’t seem to be fitting classes in the time periods i want, and because i’m going to be living a bit far from grounds (copeley), i don’t want to take any night classes which greatly limits my choices. i have found one class, Intermediate Fiction Writing, which I am interested in, but the thing is i’ve already taken Intro to Fiction Writing. does that make my classes redundant? would graduate schools frown upon that?

You took 16 classes each of the previous 2 semesters??? Or did I read that incorrectly? Also taking a higher level of the same class is not redundant. That’s like saying psych 201 after taking psych 101 is redundant.

oh sorry. i meant sixteen credits.
