Growing up in heavily Catholic Boston, Nimoy knew the feeling of being the “other”, and he drew heavily on that for Spock. I always loved Spock,especially as he grew through all the various iterations of Star Trek. Nimoy was an intelligent, warm man, and he will be missed.
