Applied back in Oct 31 for ED1, still haven’t heard anything
Have you contacted them ? Hopefully you hear from them this week!!
Hopefully I will hear, I’m going to try to be patient and contact them if I don’t hear anything by Christmas
DS accepted today but now problem is Virginia Tech is 1st choice and won’t find out till mid Feb. We are out of state and VT doesn’t give much money so hoping nice package from RIT.
DS got his FA package today. Granted not getting any but didn’t expect it with our EFC.
@mom4bear …did it come email or snail mail?? I’m losing my mind here?? Lol
Never mind,I received through email tonight. Yikes!! Was hoping for a better package, but it’s all good.
Received ours today too. Received a grant so our contributions, after Federal Loans, match our FAFSA EFC. Another college decided our EFC was $10K higher and only offered unsubsidized loans.
This is by far my son’s #1 choice and he will open a gift of an RIT sweatshirt on Xmas Day telling him to enroll. Currently, he thinks it’s too expensive and we’re looking at other options. Praying the co-op programs make it worthwhile.
I love your Christmas present idea!! CONGRATS!!!
my son just finished his first semester and we are very happy . The coop doesnt happen yet until next year, but overall its the place my son was meant to be at,
I’m happy for everyone who has received their financial aid packages already. My daughter was told that she should get hers by the 1st week of January. Do they do a pretty good package? Im wondering how much me and my wife will have to take out in loans and out of pocket contributions. Thanks
My son received some great offers from other places but his heart has been at RIT since his visit. Financial aid was in line with NPC, so finally accepted and paid deposit today. I feel very confident this is the place for him. Can’t wait to be a Tiger mom. Good luck to everyone.
@iblondie62 when did he get financial aid info? We’re still waiting on that.
He was accepted Nov 18th, merit scholarship Nov 22nd and financial package Dec 19th.
Well, put down the deposit last night, so it is official!! Good luck everyone with all your decisions.
anyone apply ED 2 and still not receive any information on Financial aid or scholarships?
@2019boston I applied ED II and was in heavy communication with the school throughout the process (hs was having trouble sending out transcript) and I still haven’t heard anything either To anyone who may know, do they send anything through email? or is it all through post office? Sorry if that’s been answered already on here, I’m just starting to get antsy!
Son had applied RD back in November, but after a school visit during christmas holidays, wanted to switch to ED and we switched to EDII on the last day. Got the acceptance today for CS program.
Does RIT wait until March for regular decision or do they do any kind of rolling decisions?
From past threads it looks like the regular decisions start coming out Mid February until Mid March. I know both my neighbors heard around Presidents day last year. Good luck!!!
