I’m reading on another thread that the decisions rolled out over two weeks last year. I know the wait is tough but you will know soon. Hang in there.

That is accurate. My son applied last year - it was challenging how it rolled out, which I believe was related to major. But they did roll out gradually.

My son got my son’s decision for mechanical technology engineering last night. It is being rolled out by discipline I believe.

My son checked out his acceptance letter when logging in the portal. It was right after he came back from our church retreat today; he received an email notification of the status change yesterday, though.
Wish you have good news!
p.s. He applied to environmental science.

All entering first-year students are required to live in one of RIT Housing’s first-year communities for their first academic year, with the exception of those who live within a 30-mile commuting distance with a parent or legal guardian.
To complete a housing contract, use your RIT computer account (username and password) to login to the myLife portal."
Im positive this wasnt there before. Does everyone have this or is it a sign of acceptance?

Did your student receive an email notifying them a decision had been made, or did they just happen to check their portal?
She received an email that there was an Admission Status Update. But I think I read upthread somewhere that their decisions are rolling out over the next couple of weeks. Hang in there!

Are other students who applied for CS still waiting? Wondering if the delay is bad news, or maybe consideration for 2nd or 3rd choice majors?

Their official website says decisions by mid March so I wouldn’t worry
accepted yesterday to second choice of MechE Technology, got put on waitlist for first choice of MechE. 25,000 merit per year. Letter said they had 200 spots for 4000 MechE applicants! Weird how they give me so much money but not first choice major

Curious if any who applied to Art & Design majors have gotten word yet on acceptances.
My son is still waiting for computer engineering software engineering and third choice cybersecurity
My son was accepted to the CS program (first choice) on Friday Feb 1.

My son was accepted to Mechanical Engineering - Aero Option on Friday, March 1st. He was offered a $21K/year Presidential Scholarship as well. He’s excited as he’ll be on campus for the FIRST Robotics competition next week.
