Romani Jr is on the way

Wait, you’re already 30 weeks???

I love it. And it only matters that y’all love it.

@HouseChatte on Monday I will be. I’m 29 now but my doctors think I’ll probably go a bit early because lupus patients tend to start having placenta breakdown a little earlier than healthy patients.

My due date is 4/20

Plus, everyone on my side of the family likes to come early.

Both my S and GS have April birthdays! It’s a great month to have a baby.

So when do we start the pot to guess the date of birth and the gender?

I will predict April 11 and boy.

Yeah to REN!!!

Coincidentally, I use the Lily example

My prediction: April 4, and girl!

@twoinanddone . My GD is named Mary. She’s 16 months. Her other grandma, great-grandma (still living), and 2 great-great grandmas (deceased) are/were Mary. My middle name is Mary.

Wren is usually a girl’s name. I remember her from books when I was young, so looked it up. Her nickname was Wren (from Karen) and she had cerebral palsy. My mother’s dermatologist named her 2nd daughter Wren, probably 8 yrs old now.

My kids were in the Ren and Stimpy era, and I have to say that’s what I thought of first. Good reasons not to tell anyone your name before Jedi is born. We all have associations…

March 31st. Rene Descartes BD.

Eh almost everyone is going to associate any name with something. We were too young for ren and stimpy and our parents too old.

My name is part of a very long running Broadway show title and its annoying but meh. It is what it is.

My gut says boy but everyone else is convinced girl. The old wives tales have me half boy half girl lol. There are far more males than females in both of our families.

My sister’s birthday is April 9 so that’s the only date I need to avoid lol.

I know a family with 2 little girls: Lily and Ren.

If you lived in Brooklyn, I’d predict at least one other Ren in your child’s preschool class.

Our neighbors named their son Lawrence but called him Ren or Rennie.

Just popping in to say I’m so glad you’re doing well, @romanigypsyeyes, and I love the name Ren! Not that my opinion means anything in this case but I’m receiving such pleasure from following this thread. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

I predict a girl born on Easter.

I knew a girl born on Easter and her name was Maureen but they called her Bunny. That was strange because she was Jewish.

OK, now I’m curious. A current show? Phantom? Mormon? Chicago? Or a closed show. Mia? Cat(s)?

During my first career, I worked with a man named Shannon. During my second career, I worked with a woman named Leland. Both good friends.

So…initials will be REO?

@brantly apparently it’s latest Broadway revival was last year.

It predates all of those. On Broadway at least.

Also I’ve never seen it so can’t give plot clues lol

@Marilyn technically. Which is why my best friend has already decided to call them speedwagon. ?

But more than likely they’ll do initials like the rest of us in the family do with our last name and it’ll be ROC.

Kiss Me Kate?
