So, in other words, you’re going to have a baby really soon!!
Oh, I needed to hear such great news today. You’re in the home stretch!
Oh and estimated weight was 4 lb 2 oz.
Weirdly they have semi short legs (MFM said there’s a ton of things could cause lower readings and wasn’t worried or anything) in the 35-40th percentile. But the head of course is in the 85th-ish percentile. Because apparently baby has Mr R’s head… joy.
@romani…ooo…so my guess of 4/4/20 still in the running! Rooting for 38 weeks! (although, if Baby Jedi already 4lbs…you could end up with a BIG baby!) Enjoy this magical time…
Younger son as teenager, shoving hair back off his forehead and looking in the mirror: “Wow, I have a really big brain pan!”
Go, Baby Jedi!!
I wasn’t into the baby-small child and was eager for the age we could talk with each other. That didn’t happen- kid did not want to interact with mom once he was old enough to, sigh. Different personalities (introverts just don’t enjoy the same encounters…).
Going back to work was wonderful for being with adults- and not dealing with the mundane diaper changes et al. He did not miss me while sleeping most of the time either. We are seeing the baby aspect of your life here. Hopefully it is not all consuming of your time and energy. Just a fun memory of our past lives to share with you. Three stages- before, during and after raising kid(s).
March 31st.
Fingers and toes crossed for you both!!!
This kid is definitely my little jerk lol. I’m at the first of my twice weekly stress tests and they’ve woken baby up twice because they are too chill.
This is the baby who wouldn’t stay still for their echocardiograms.
Work with us here, child.
When having a crappy day, this thread makes me smile.
I used to drink OJ to wake up ds1. Worked every time.
I had a whole cup of apple juice at the beginning. No luck lol.
Mine slept then the day, played at night.
The nursery mural wall (constellations with their animals outlined) is complete. PM me if you want a picture of it
So excited for you!! I was induced at 36 weeks and it went fine – as uneventful as my non induced labor. Baby was not even 5 lbs so DH had to borrow a carseat from the hospital since the one we had was , it turned out, too big.
Add me to the “loved every age” group, although 12-14 yrs I don’t remember fondly. all that boundary testing and emotional swings. I was a SAHM for a long time, and loved it. I’m glad most women get to choose what works for them.
Another week down.
33 weeks today. We’re in 2x weekly NST time now. This morning baby was awake and cooperative and placenta looks good.
Small contractions but totally normal.
YEA!!!
Any day now, Romani. Any day.
So happy for you! I haven’t been able to log in since the update, but I’ve been following along and sending good karma to your little Jedi !
NST went well again today.
We have our hospital bags packed which displeases the dog. She knows what suitcases mean and she is NOT having it. We put it in the car and she still knowssss.
@romanigypsyeyes …It’s happening already…??? (getting ready).
So I was so nervous and we “planned” on having a bag packed but once my wife said it was time to go …it was time to go. …I threw things into a suitcase and my dog’s bone was near it…Yep…packed the damn dog bone…LOL
Also…they told us to go home in the middle of a winter storm since she was not dilated enough…she was NOT having it. She just said " I want my epidural NOW!!!
She was correct. Twenty minutes later her water broke literally as I sat on the bed with her…whooosh…Listen to your body!!
