Room Dimensions

Does anyone know the dimensions of the windows in standard McCormick dorms?

I realize this is a pretty specific question but I figured I’m not the first to inquire about them on these forums…so maybe someone still has them written down?

[McCormick Road Residence Area Sample Dimensions, Housing Division, U.Va.](http://www.virginia.edu/housing/dimensions.php?id=mccormick)

That took all of 5 seconds using google. I wonder, how long did it take you to write this post?

Lol. thnx.

It seems strange that the inside dimensions are larger than the outside. Could this be a mistake?

jc40,

Considering when these were built, I wouldn’t be surprised if that info is completely correct.

It makes sense to me. There’s probably a black, metal frame that actually serves as the casing for the window. That’s set into concrete/brick/whatever. The inside dimension is probably taken around the metal casing. The outside dimension is probably taken around the actual opening in the wall.

This is just my guess, of course.
