Running for Valedictorian! Would like suggestions for 'Vote for me' speech

<p>So tomorrow after school, they will be taping the candidates’ ‘Vote for me’ Speech that should take around one to two minutes. I need something witty/intriguing/hilarious to capture the hearts of my fellow graduating classmates!</p>

<p>D: How do you run for valedictorian? It’s supposed to be the student with the highest class rank!</p>

<p>When I ran for a class position, I gave them a list of things I wouldn’t do. It involved underwater-basketweaving, doodling I <3 Nick Jonas on all my notes, and sabotaging the officer refrigerator. I got elected-- don’t know if it was my speech, though. </p>

<p>Something that could be fun would be to make a random analogy: “High school is like bathing in cranberry juice”, etc, and explain WHY that’s a valid analogy. I’ve seen this approach work wonders, but it’s best if you keep it light throughout most of it but ultimately make a serious point about why you should be elected.</p>

Funny thing is, Valedictorian isn’t based on GPA, it’s based on teacher recommendation and votes from graduating classmates xD</p>

<p>That seriously sucks. My school calculates it based on your ACT score, GPA, and number of AP/honor courses.</p>
