<p>I’m surprised there is no thread for this already in 2009! IMO, Greek life is a lot of fun at UVA! Last year I was starting an emergency thread, and now I’m on the flip side representing my sorority. Today I was getting an outfit to wear to “Themes” night.
To all First Year students who will be rushing: welcome!! Have a great time, dress warmly, and don’t stress.</p>
<p>Dress warmly will be key, the forecast looks freezing, but it should still be great fun!</p>
<p>yeah and for the girls: look good but also think about your feet! Don’t wear 3 inch heels if they’re not comfortable and don’t wear brand new shoes. Take some time to break them in otherwise you won’t be able to make it to any of the rush events after day 1. 
If you have a great set of flat boots/flats, utilize them! Cold weather accessories can add to your outfit, if planned well, and will keep you warm. Plan ahead and you’ll be really happy you did! Good luck to everyone!</p>

<p>Brr. It’s cold enough already. I strongly encourage people to wear warm shoes in between rounds and just kick them off before you go into a house. Stay warm and healthy everyone!</p>
