bbbuummmmmpp

deadline was dec 1st so too late … sorry

no. you can still apply- that was just the priority deadline. 1210 is plenty good for Rutgers, if you have ok grades, your in.

cool thanks… do you know when the deadline is though? that would really help me

I think Its just rolling admission, check their webpage.

thanks …

The priority deadline was Dec. 1, but after that, it’s just rolling admission, so the sooner you get it in, the better.

it’s definitely worth a try. A 1210 is fine for Rutgers as long as your grades are decent :D

yea i have a 89.3 weighted- top 25% of my class… that should prob. be ok… at least from what ive been hearing

if your instate its not hard…the thing that is hard is getting into your first choice major…I know this because being in NJ, many kids apply to Rutgers every year. I was talking to my guidance advisor and he said because the school is getting more and more instate applicants that are well above the “average” they are prioritzing their major requests first. I assure you instate with a 1210 will get you in, but securing a spot on main campus (extremely competitive) or getting your first choice major (pharmacy is also a tough one to get as 1st choice) can be a factor too :(

I have a 3.0 GPA and an 1100 SAT. I applied to Rutgers College, Livingston, and Cook. Do I have any shot?

im an out of state applicant with a 1210 and 89.3 . .is this still ok?

out of state is definitely competitive but it can be done if you have some great Recs, ECs etc. Honestly out of state, anything below a 1300 is less than a 50/50 chance. They do not take a lot out of state so the people they choose are at the “high end” of the spectrum. I just suggest you pour your heart out in the essay and just hope for the best. If you can bring up your scores, that would help, but if not just apply and hope because you never know. But honestly, out of state is definitely harder for any state school, but specifically rutgers since it is pretty ranked in the top public schools. sorry if this seems a little discouraging. I think you still have a shot, just not a good enough chance to deem it a safety.

thanks for the reply … i figured it would be pretty tough but I might as well try anyways …right? lol
