Anyone having issues with NetID? My daughter has tried with the ssn and ruid and it keeps saying there is a problem.

Same

Someone mentioned above that it takes at least a day before you may be able to activate it.

Can’t activate NetID!

I’d wait a day. Probably takes some time for their systems to sync up.

Son also deferred for first and second choice majors (SAS). Will probably not pursue further. Congratulations to everyone admitted!

My D got into all schools including Engineering (Bio), Pharma, Business, Premed. It says Pharmacy (6-year Pharm.D.) is admitted. Does that mean she got into 6 years Pharma program or there is separate application process for this?

Son just checked his portal and saw that he was admitted to the business school. We did not get an email, but he decided to check the portal anyway.
(4.2 weighted GPA, out of state student)

Does anyone know if Rutgers is done for tonight? Are the rest coming out tomorrow?

I just heard that Rutgers had almost double the number of applications for fall of 2025
and that their acceptance rate used to be 65% but this round has gone down to 35%. That’s crazy :flushed:

Yes the Pharmacy program is 6 years for a PharmD. They do not have a BS in Pharmacy. So your child is in. My daughter was also accepted. Very excited!

accepted to the school of arts & sciences and the business school! In-state, 1570 SAT, 3.8 UW, strong ECs  intended majors I put were pre-law and economics (SAS) and Leadership & Management (RBS)

Not really. They received 68,500 apps last year (which indeed was a very big jump from previous years due to them moving to the Common App), and 77,000 this year.

It’s more like 42%. The incoming class size is about 8,000 and their yield rate is approximately 25%
That means they will admit about 32,000 students (8,000 divided by 0.25)

That indicates an acceptance rate of about 41.5% (32,000 divided by 77,000).

Did Rutgers NB release their acceptance rate for 2024/2025?

Someone said they did on Reddit and when I made a post asking where they deleted my post.

Thanks!

That sub is filled with [insert a synonym for gnomes with fuzzy colorful hair]. I don’t get how the mods allow that. It makes the school look so trashy.
