S25 got admitted to RBS-New Brunswick just now. Already admitted to Newark in Dec. Thank you New Jersey… after the UMass Amherst Waitlist -in state!

Other son just now got admitted to Engineering School with Mech Eng interest- New Brunswick. He too was waitlisted at UMass -Amherst- in state! So decisions are rolling by the hour!

My son is still waiting for a decision, in state, School of Business and School of Arts and Sciences.

It took a day at least to activate Net id when my kid was accepted to Newark in Dec.

Will we be able to see scholarship awards after activating NetID?
Once you activate Net ID and enter my Rutgers portal using Net ID… there will be a dashboard for Financial aid and scholarships. We don’t have anything yet!

I have indicated three choices at NB and got deferred for my second one (engg), but the first and third choice are still “under review”. I guess I’ll keep refreshing.

First choice is still under review is a good sign. Deferral also something positive and wish the best for your kid. Many with acceptances have multiple offers including my Eng admit kid ( he prefer Pitt Eng over Rutgers) … so good chance of acceptance once the mid year grades are updated!

Will there be an actual acceptance letter at some point? Or simply the status changed to admitted?
When/how do we hear if merit was awarded?
When my kid was accepted to Newark, he got a congratulatory email with link to portal and offer acceptance. Not sure an official letter was included.
Daughter admitted to both Nursing and SAS. OOS.

Did u activate the NETID to see merit
you need to do activate net id and log in to see all info
