Rutgers University Early Action for Fall 2025

No way!

That’s crazy. It’s like being ED if you can’t see financials before committing!

We called their tech support and were told it takes 3 to 5 days to sync up! So, I think we should try on Sunday or Monday.

Ok I thought it was just to see financial aid stuff

You will see financials, I don’t know of a single school that makes you commit before letting you know how much it will actually cost. Even ED gives financials.

Does anyone still have an Under Review status? We have an acceptance for one school but not the other.

I do. Admitted to sas, rbs, waiting on engineering. In state.

I’ve been in IT a long time. That’s par for the course everywhere

Was able set up NetID this morning. Any idea when Rutgers typically provides scholarship award info (if any). Is it typically soon after the admissions notification or well after? Thanks.

Anything specific you did to set it up.

Still under review this morning. How about you?

Same

I wonder if that means deferred but they forgot to change the status. Not ideal, but at least got into one of the schools in the meantime.

I have the same question. Not able to see any link to Merit/Financial Aid in myRutgers portal.

I wasn’t able to activate the NetId until late last night. Got an automated email early morning today to activate it.
I guess as soon as all systems sync up, this email gets generated.

One thing I did do yesterday afternoon was confirm the SSN in the application portal, not sure if that triggered anything.

I don’t believe Rutgers NB gives much scholarship money outside their Honors College. I’m sure there are some exceptions. My D24 was accepted TO with a 4.0 and didn’t receive anything, but we didn’t expect her to get merit offers from NB. She was also accepted at RU Camden to their Honors College (MUCH different than NB’s) and received a $7500 scholarship. She ended up not going to Rutgers.

Thank you so much. What’s the typical scholarship award for NB honors college for OOS, if you’d know?
Also, where/when would we see the financial package, even if it’s nothing?

I’m not sure if the amount, out of all of the students I know who applied to Rutgers (a lot), I only know of one who got in. It’s really, really competitive. My daughter got into a lot of honors colleges, including Villanova, but not Rutgers.

I’m very positive of my D25 getting Rutgers honors—she wrote an excellent essay, but I’m unsure if it’s really worth it.

OOS 4.0 unweighted/ 4.8 weighted GPA,9 AP, test optional, Varsity and club volleyball. Part time job, several honor societies, dual enrollment at community College this year. Volunteer work. I hope this helps. Good luck to everyone!
