For us also this button was not there for a long time. Then a few days ago, it got activated. On the left side of portal, the tick marks looked like this. I think something similar should happen for you as well in the coming days (am just making an educated guess).

No worry. We are in state and we still have Application Submitted and Application status is pending. Same that we only apply schools in NB campus so no decision has been released. I have a friend who is IT for NB admission and he has confirmed our status is all valid. No need to worry about “Application Submitted” status as it does not accurately reflect the true status.

I don’t know if things changed over the years, but when my eldest son applied to Rutgers in the 2018 admission cycle for Fall 2019 admit, they released on a Wednesday after 10:30 pm ET. I found my old post confirming it on CC. :joy: They definitely released them in waves. So for the 12/19/2018 release, he heard back from SAS, but it was later in January he heard from School of Engineering, and by the time RBS was released he decided to pursue other interests.

My son applied last year but not EA so he didnt hear until February so that doesnt help us at all

Does anyone know when early decision for Rutgers university New Brunswick will be out? We heard from Newark, but waiting on New Brunswick.

Never. Because they don’t offer early decision.

There might have been a mini-wave just before Thanksgiving, and maybe a wave this evening. If not, then probably (and more likely this year due to an increase in apps), mid-Jan.

Website says EA will be notified by January 31.

Jan 31st is the very latest date for EA decisions. After that they move on to RD.
EA decisions have in the past been released in waves starting in November. Let’s see if they do a release this week, else I think it’ll be mid January.

I know the very latest is January 31 but I was hoping we would find out sooner. My daughter heard From other colleges, she applied to for early action in the lastlweek.

My younger is waiting to hear too and I am super inpatient, however I know that my older found out January 20. It was totally worth the wait. He LOVES RU!

Same here! My older got her decision before Christmas two years ago and I was thinking it would be the same for my younger one. Knowing a lot more students applied to this school this year, I’ve been checking this thread everyday anxiously. Was hoping we can hear good news before Christmas.
