Just wanted to remind everyone about the get together in two weeks - perhaps some east coasters would like to fly out and join us? As it turns out, I probably will have temporary crowns in opposite corners of my mouth so may just drink my lunch.
I am planning on joining lunch on the 6th, barring some horrible mess happening at my new project.
It has been raining non-stop here, and I have an itch to use my Alaska miles to fly down to meet you all and get some sun exposure!

Paradise Point is still a go for lunch on Saturday, February 6; I’ll try to be there starting about 11:30 but am thinking noon for everyone to meet (Sorry, thought I included this in my previous post - still getting used to my new phone.) cb - even if there is a horrible mess (unlikely), pop by anyway for a short visit and take a breather! And have a drink.
bb - yes, come on down! Can’t guarantee sun during El Nino but it’s a lovely venue anyway.

@Happy2Help, we absolutely have room for you! It’s a small crowd so far but there’s plenty of room even if it turns into a large crowd. There are some large tables at the place so I don’t think we need to worry about exact numbers.
Yes, plenty of room to run after lunch! Or walk, or bike, or paddleboard, or kayak, or surf…or just lounge around the beach.
Wish I could come but I live out on the east coast and am stuck at home in this snow.

One week to go for our gathering at Paradise Point on Saturday, February 6 - anyone in the area is welcome to join us. Foggy today but next Saturday is forecast to be sunny and 72. Fingers crossed that it holds true! See you all at noon next week.
Hi Marilyn and SD CC’ers! I was just checking my usual threads and saw this. SD is actually my hometown. I live a couple of hours north and would love to meet up in the future (my youngest is starting HS next year thus my CC hiatus is almost over) and my older D may be attending grad school there next year.
Sounds like someone needs to host an LA/Orange County meetup!

I really enjoyed our San Diego CC lunch today. It was nice meeting everyone and we had an interesting discussion about all of the different types of threads on CC.
