Was thinking of all of you today and the story on the news about a sea lion pup that found its way to a restaurant and was sleeping in one of the booths! It was in La Jolla though, but reminded me that you were all meeting today. Glad it worked out.

Totally off track but I have a daughter that will be doing a rotation at the San Diego Zoo in November/December - any insight on where to live? Any help is greatly appreciated.

First thought is North Park. It’s a hip, lively community with lots of young people and tons of restaurants. Also borders Balboa Park so your daughter could even walk or bike to the zoo. North Park has tons of Airbnb and VRBO rentals so there should be choices at that time of year. Check specific locations carefully because as always there are iffy sections. Other good locations would be Little Italy (very hot area) and Bankers Hill.
