Son rejected yesterday. This sucks. Now we wait for UC Berkley (reach) and Cal Poly SLO (and yes, they are true to their name - Slow AF).

These cutoff GPAs are getting so high.
I guess if your targets are SDSU and/or SLO, a strategy is to just not spend time on ECs and focus all energy on GPA.
Son was waitlisted for psychology.
Accepted: UCI, UCR, UCSC, UCM, Loyola Marymount, CSULB.
Waitlisted: UCSB, SDSU
Denied: UCLA, UCSD, UCD.

Would you happen to know / have any feedback on if their Advising is good/responsive/easy to avail of? (Any other helpful info/feedback specific to Fowler School of Business for DS? Pls feel free to DM me if you do, as I don’t want to take away from the main focus of admissions on this thread. Thanks in advance!
