I wasn’t planning on taking SAT IIs until I saw that they are pretty much required for UVA. I missed the November deadline so I’ll be taking them Dec 3. If my SAT IIs don’t get submitted in time will that pretty much kill my application?

Please read Dean J’s post regarding recommended test dates. It shows that the test date for 12/3 internet delivery is 12/22. That is if you select UVa as a free report before the test for it to be sent automatically. It will get there on time.

This is simply my opinion so take it as such, if UVa planned on rejecting all students without SAT2’s they would be “required”. They are strongly recommended. For your strongest chances it is obviously recommended you submit them.
