So I have my SAT on Saturday, but I have to admit that I did not study. I’ve done the PSAT two times and my highest score was a 1320. Assuming I am still at that skill level, what should be my theoretical score on the SAT? I have searched everywhere, but I haven’t found a single website that gives me a straight answer.
Also, is the SAT even worth all this stress it’s giving me?
Thanks
When my son took the psat in the fall, they said the score you got that day is the score you would have gotten on the sat- so I think they are equal? Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
Not sure what that stress is – it hasn’t been important enough for you to study, after all. Yes, it is important. Register for another fall date and study.
It depends on what college you wish to attend. You can look at your GPA and PSAT and see if that is good enough to get you into the collge you want. Its all how you look at it. Its worth studying for if you are going to take it. Don’t stress. There’s going to be other things in life to stress about.
It is depending where you plan to go to for college.
The PSAT score lines up with the SAT score. So if you got a 1320 in the fall, you probably would’ve gotten around a 1320 on the SAT that same day. The reason that the PSAT doesn’t have its max score at 1600 is b/c it is somewhat easier, yet still scaled the same way.
You might have improved somewhat since the fall. Perhaps your math skills are better, or your grammar.
Don’t stress because it will not raise your score [Speaking from experience]. Also, you can retake it at another time. You should just take the test tomorrow and retake it at a later date. In your future SAT prep, you should take practice SATs from https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/practice/full-length-practice-tests and review your mistakes.
