When I took my SAT my full name did not fit within the allocated space. I asked my instructor and they told me to fill in all available characters. When I received my scores and made an account on the college board website my last name had the final 3 characters of my last name missing. When I attempted to change this I noticed that on the personal information page the area with my name was grayed out, indicating that I was unable to change it. However, the field for my social security number was blank and I could add my SS, as I did not put it down when I took the SAT. I filled in my SS, and then sent the scores to CSU Mentor via rush shipping, they said the score should arrive in 2-3 days. This was on the 5th of January and the CSU’s I applied to (I only applied to CSU’s) still say they have not received my SAT scores. Most of the colleges I applied to have a SAT deadline of February 1st so I still have some time, but one has a January 20th deadline. At this point what should I do? I think the colleges have probably received my scores, but because the last 3 characters of my last name aren’t on it they don’t recognize them as being my scores.
