SAT Scores for an International Student.

<p>Hey, I’m an International Student fron Mexico. I have a high GPA (4.3 W 3.9 UW) but an 1800 on the SAT. I’m really worried about my SAT Score. However, I have a really good essay. I’m trying to apply to the UC’s and other private schools.</p>

<p>The UC’s are public – you do know that, right? The other important question is: are you looking for financial aid? If so, you might as well cross the UCs off your list. As public schools, they don’t offer aid to international students.</p>

<p>I got a disappointing 1770, I wonder if universities take in account that we are international. Regarding top universities I don’t think they will give you a break because you are international, they only want top students with good grades, scores and a story.</p>
