<p>2240 (CR700,W760,M780) applied to virginia,rochester,emory,jhu,unc chapel hill,duke,vanderbilt got into virginia rochester unc. i think sat scores give a very limited view on how good a student is or how difficult it is to get into a school (it’s probably been said too many times but it needs to be emphasized in my opinion). someone in my school got into berkley with a crap sat score so…and it’s not like he had good extracurriculars or an amazing gpa and he was asian so…</p>

<p>well the only place i applied for financial aid was for rice (forgot to write that down in my first reply) and i was rejected. vanderbilt also said something about aid for international students, but when i called the guy made it pretty (extremely actually) clear that unless you’re albert einstein, youre not getting the money. rice said something about picking 10 from the aid pool but i guess that changes every time.</p>
