Yeah I put that too with the bags. What’d you say for the one which was about why leaves are flat. I said to increase surface area for photosynthesis

yeah clear vs black plastic bag and increase surface area for photosynthesis… both are right

for m, anyone remember the question about hydrophobic tails in phosopholipid bilayer? do they face outward? Or do they float freely in the cytoplasm? and for 3d protein conformation what happens? I said something about help from an outside special ribosome

and this: which is typical for female: xx only or xo as well?

yeah i put that too

i put xx only

for leaves it was surface area, hydrophobic tails face inward and xx for females

for protein… i think i put a protein that is used as a model or something

Did you get 16 chromatids for the one with a haploid number 4?

yeah… thats wht i put

in barrons it says chaperone proteins assist in folding other proteins so i think the protein thing is the answer for that one

yep i got 16 chromatids, surface area, xx
I also got that “A” was the only directional one, and that if B and C were denatured, nothing would happen (it wouldn’t be directional)

what were the two environmental questions… tundra taiga…

yeah thts i put too

how many generations does it take for the ratio to be 9:3:3:1?

It was tundra and then desert

what about the turtle question… i put endothermy and amniotic

16 chromatids

Dark Plastic bag vs. Clear Plastic Bag

XX only

Increase surface area for leaves

Hydrophobic tails in middle layer (face inward)

For the tertiary protein question: it was (E) based on linear protein sequence. I’m sure; read it in my AP Bio book.

For the question about the species of flies: was it a prey-predator relationship or was the x- species more competitive?

the first environmental question was tundra, as you said. the second enviro question was desert (the key to this was the rapidly fluctuating temperatures between day and night)

fly q - x was more competeitve than y

Ectothermic and amniotic for turtle. Tundra and then desert. X outcompeted y since the amount of food didn’t change
