Sat

I have a question. To someone studying in grade 11, what route for Standarized tests would you suggest. My suggestion would be
Sat I in grade 11 (They will have time later on to retest and will also know whether to switch to ACT)
SAT II in 12 (As most of the courses will be covered) and applying while you are in 12 only.

Can you please comment (positive and negative) on this way of taking standarized tests

Thats how the tests are usually taken, yes. Take your SAT I a month or two after your 10th board exam. That should give you enough time to study for it, and people rarely do school work in the beginning of 11th. SAT II utilizes some stuff that you’ll learn in 11th or 12th, so give the SAT II towards the end of 12th (around October or November, if you’re not applying early). You won’t be able to retake the SAT II though. And you can retake the SAT I any time while you’re in 12th. In fact, unless your score is 2100+, I’d recommend retaking it at least once.

EDIT: I’m gravedigging, I know, but I feel like answering unanswered questions today.

Well, Thank-you :)
