<p>So at my high school, no one takes the SATs. I’m from Kansas and every one takes the ACT. Maybe 1 person every 2 years takes the SAT. Is our school really strange? Our closest SAT test site is about an hour away.</p>

<p>Yeah, if you’re in the Midwest/parts of the Great Plains, that isn’t very strange. I’m from northern IL and the SAT isn’t common whatsoever. Teachers look at you funny if you mention taking the SAT, some students don’t even know it exists.</p>
