VH1-Classic is airing episodes from 1975-1980 of Saturday Night Live this week.
Killer Bees, Samari Night Fever, Landshark (candygram).
Roesanne Roseannadanna. “Cheesebugger, cheesebugger”.
I wonder what ever became of the 400 comedians who auditioned to get on the show in 1975?
Dan Akroyd as Julia Child - I can hardly watch with all the “blood” spurting, but it is one of my top 5 funniest SNL skits. Maybe the funniest (although I have a special fondness for Tina & Amy as Sarah Palin & Hillary Clinton).
Chee-booger Chee-booger
Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead.
Baseball has been berry, berry good to me.
Matt Foley… living in a van down by the river.
I have computer DVDs of SNL somewhere.
Rosanne Roseannadana.
Jane, you ignorant slut.
Candy gram!
The Holiday show with Gumby Dammit!
Gave hubby a Bass-o-matic t-shirt for Christmas. “Wow, that’s terrific bass!”
No Coke, Pepsi.
I was told there would be no math.
“Jane you ignorant slut” is a phrase I have wanted to use many times since then, emeraldkity.
I nominate, “My wife…Morgan Fairchild.”
Because we’re just two wild and crazy guys!
BTW… this months Rolling Stone has ranked from best to worst, all 141 cast SNL members:

That was fun, teri.
Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead.
A few blocks away, there is a neighborhood store called " Mr Bill’s".
Remember the Muppets?
Chevy Chase as Gerald Ford.
New for the hard of hearing “OUR TOP STORY TONIGHT”
The Coneheads
“I’m Chevy Chase, and you’re not.”
My favorite host would have to be George Carlin.
I miss him.

George Carlin is the guest host on VH1-CL on Sunday, Feb. 15th, between 5:30 PM and 7 PM EST. The musicians from the 1975-1980 era of SNL are a who’s who of Rock 'n Roll.
Saturday Night Live will rebroadcast the very first episode of SNL tonight at 11:30. I woildnt miss that for all the tea in China!
Tomorrow…Sunday, there is a three hour SNL special on starting at 8. I’ll be watching that one too.
The earlier shows, and casts were my favorites…you know…Gilda Radner, Jane Curtin…that group. The writing was always hilarious.
I do hope, however, that they show the Tina Fey spoofs of Sarah Palin. They also were hilarious…and Queen Latifah as Gwen Eifle (oh that is not spelled correctly)…hilarious!
Can’t wait!!
