I have had quite enough of you Mr. HVAC repairman. You quoted me $3900 for the new heater plus installation. I checked online and can purchase the exact heater for $2100 delivered to a supplier 7 miles from my house. I tell you that and suggest I order it and pay you for installation. Nope, you tell me I have to purchase it from you and that’s your mark up - take it or leave it. I thank you for your time and figure you get the message.
I can’t even believe you called me back today to ask me if I was going forward with the deal. You are a crazy person.
Wait, you send an email saying, “sorry, we don’t have a second bedroom now since it’s my office” and then you also say, “nice you’re visiting our mutual brother then but we’re staying in his spare room on that date because it’s my gf’s birthday”. Do you realize his spare room is also his office? And you’re using it as a crash pad to go out in the city is nice and all but you can now never reciprocate for him or anyone else at your own place out in the burbs?
Dear Crickets who live in my garden - Letting you all know right now, my house is not a safe space for your kind. As I’m sure you’ve noticed, your brethren who venture in here never come back. Since I haven’t discovered how you get in, I can’t stop you but be forewarned the big furry monster that lives here (aka my cat) thinks you are great fun and will play with (okay torture) you until you move no longer (in other words, you’re dead). To the two of you I just found and put back in the garden, I rescued you from a terrible fate. Show me your gratitude by not returning and telling your cricket friends and family to stay away. If you tell me to do the job, and refuse to participate when the opportunity is given, no I will not take phone instruction micromanagement. I would chafe at such a thing even in a paid position, let alone as a family event volunteer.
Does your mission to serve mankind and make the world a better place include actually paying your subcontractors? So sick of of organizations who don’t pay their bills on time. Right up there with the ones who call job applicants in for multiple interviews and never have the good manners to let them know when the position has been filled.

Why is it that whenever I request for fairly simple thing, it somehow gets super complicated because those responsible for this particular task don’t know what they are doing? I am supposed to talk to the Dean of A&S College dean for this particular course, but then an associate from the a&S College says it is College of Engieering’s jurisdiction…I am so confused.

This semester I felt particulalry got bored/tired of everything; added with some unexpected problems in my family it was even hard to make myself motivated to work hard in a class I hated to much.
Glad it is over. I hope I do better next semester
I love you. You are my sibling’s child. Your recent request to come visit sparked a flurry of emails among us. The main question being, how can we host you while never ever leaving you unsupervised in our houses? Your own father refuses to have you stay with him, as does the other family member in the area. We seriously debated but decided that your reason for visiting outweighs the danger of theft. Actually, we’ve got it coordinated so that you will never be left alone.
I hate this. I want to just love you. I want to trust you. I want to believe what you say rather than running it through an ever-active filter. I wish we could talk about this without you crying and complaining that you are the family black sheep. You never EVER take responsibility for your actions. There’s always an excuse.
I could go on and on but I’ll stop with saying this: The window for living your life differently is rapidly closing. You have choices.
The indignity I feel knowing that you continued to make bookings, and honored them, after you told me you must cancel my reservation with you because you were losing your home is one you cannot fathom. There are ways we can nick the next person, the hurt seeps so slowly, so steadily, so deeply.
I’m glad you are enjoying the game and cheering your team. But really, do you have stand the whole time and block my view? You can cheer your team in your seat. Guess I’m doomed with an obstructed view.

I can hardly believe it’s been two years since you left this earth much too early. You couldn’t bear Mother’s Day that year and today it’s the anniversary of your death. Your boys must be lost without you-how could they possibly get through this awful day? I hope you and Tim are united and finally at peace.

A 60 year old house needs some work before it goes on the market. That’s not a nightmare, that’s exactly what a normal person would expect. Could you tone down the drama? Yes, there is work to do that will not be completed by yesterday. Get over it.
I am so disappointed that the people who were at least supposed to show some kinds of support to students’ needs keep pushing their jobs to each other, and I am the one stuck in the between. Cant believe this!
