Loss of a child is devastating no matter how old the child is. To imply that the loss of an 11 year old is more tragic than a 20 year old is ridiculous , and to blame the family when a child dies by suicide is beyond heartless .

Insurance companies suck. I sent you the information you say you are missing! By return mail, no less, when I received the request from your company! You continually make it so difficult to get claims paid that I often give up - well, THIS claim I can’t afford, so I won’t be giving up. Hey State A, thanks for nothing, I use the 3rd party portal you require to renew that license, but it won’t go through, computer error. By the time they email me back it’s one day beyond the deadline and you refuse to waive the $100 late fee because other people call you directly when they have issues, even though your website says to talk to the 3rd party. So, rude behavior is rewarded. And for one day, with an issue that had me on the phone for 15 minutes for you to fix, so you know it was a computer issue, and you won’t waive the fee.

Every time you return from a trip I find myself with knots in my stomach and walking on eggshells.
I was just perusing an IKEA catalog that arrived recently in the mail. IKEA asked a designer to orchestrate an elegant room using IKEA furniture. The catalog claims that “If you call a chair Don Carlos, it becomes completely different.” Page 65, or so. Paraphrased perhaps, rather than a direct quotation, because I don’t have the catalog beside me. But it’s close to exact.
I have been calling my IKEA furniture things like Floog, Storp, and Gron. Those are the names it came with. Perhaps that is the problem? (Insert umlauts as needed.)

Well, I FINALLY got to the beach yesterday. My friend was taking the kids and convinced me to come along.
And I’m burnt to a crisp. Even with sunblock, even covering up once I knew I was starting to burn.
Not the end of the world; I’ll be more comfortable (and peeling) by tomorrow.
And, to be honest, for a few hours at the beach, it was worth it. School starts in a few weeks and I probably won’t get back this summer.
My skin may be sore, but it does my soul good to get to the beach.
How long does it take to update the executor in the will? I don’t want to find a new lawyer and update the whole estate plan, just this one little change. It’s been almost 6 months!
Living with teens is not easy! How I wish you had already figured out that constantly competing with others to make you feel good only temporarily gets rid of those feelings of inadequacy. You need to overcome those feelings in some other way. My DC really like you so I hope I can wait this out but it is wearing on me!!!
