… reminds me of evangelical christianity for some odd reason… ramming sharp crosses through chests and such. haha! Can’t get Borat outta my head though. somebody has to agree with me here ;)

ewww…Borat…happy feet was sooo much better

Borat was a boring letdown after watching Da Ali G Show.

Pfft. I heard it was the other way around. I couldn’t stop laughing for like… 2 hours. Ahh… the wrestling scene… dang.

um HAPPY FEET WAS AMAZING!!!
so adorable and hilarious!

i’m holdin out for casino royale. i hear bond bleeds, cries, and sweats. what could be better. by the way, this is my first post, so greetings to all you 2011ers.

I dunno, those are pretty funny. Borat just had too much filler.

Hi Garobi. Really off topic, but I wonder who will get the 1,000th post… That’s pretty crazy considering the SCEA deadline only passed ~3 weeks ago. Pyleela, are you excited for Friday?

Which friday do you speak of? 'Cuz there’s obvioiusly one friday which I’m sure all of you have in mind. Let’s refer to it as The Decision from now on. I think it gives it significant weight. Hollywood would have a blast making a movie on that.

But speaking about movies, I really want to see Bond! Gahh…sooo bad.
And I walked into Borat knowing that it wasn’t trying to be a ‘masterpiece’ of sorts – I considered it more of just a movie with a good laugh here and there and walked away pleasantly humored.

MorsVenit: Of course!!! I’m so pumped…I love competition and this is going to rock! :D

Yeah, I haven’t seen Casino Royale yet…I heard it was okay, so hopefully I’ll check it out…probably not b/c school starts on Monday… tear Thanksgiving Break went by too quickly…

http://daily.stanford.edu/article/2006/1/10/853StudentsAdmittedEarly

Towards bottom of the article:
“A lot of things are happening this year,” Shaw said. “A new committee evaluation system was implemented, which notifies students via the worldwide Web. About 90 percent of the application pool received a decision within 24-48 hours of submitting their application online. This was followed up with an important notification with a hard copy. This system is much better because it’s so much more accessible.”

I don’t get this paragraph…maybe b/c I’m sleepy or something (hopefully I’m not stupid. That would not be a good sign for my SCEA decision…).

Explanation please?

That’s from last year’s decisions… But I don’t get what they mean. It took them til Nov 3 to make all the decisions? What? I have no bloody clue man…

“The Decision”- I would so watch that movie. :D

I can hear the dramatic music now… and the letter with the big red words scrawled across the front… but the letter is too far away and the words are too blurry! What do you do!?? lol.

pyleela - confusing! They already figured out kids’ Decisions TWO DAYS after submission!? WHAT!? My Decision is already Decided!??!?!?! AGHHH

Ahhh, some of my documents are not received yet hahaha.

Pyleela, I don’t understand that either. It doesn’t make any sense…they must have messed up. Maybe they meant confirmation that they got your application? Can’t be the actual decision…weird…

Maybe they just look at your name and pick a random word from your essay and see if they like you. Hence, quick decision-making. (:

I’m a little late, but I heard Casino Royale is reallyy good. Though Daniel Craig cannot hold a candle to Pierce Brosnan. ):

They always say that about the new guy =D

i hope college doesn’t go by as fast as high school did

You can stay extra years by switching majors and stuff if you really want. Your best bet is to try to get into a good grad school though (preferably Stanford again.)
